Monarch’s CEO Selected for Harvard’s Fellowship for Nonprofit Leadership
May 27, 2015
Monarch’s CEO Erin Spiewak has been selected to join nonprofit leaders from around the globe to participate in Harvard Business School’s Fellowship for Nonprofit Leadership. Spiewak was selected by the HBS Club of San Diego and is the first Monarch executive to participate in the fellowship.
Since arriving at Monarch in 2012, Spiewak led the school through a successful expansion to the new Nat & Flora Bosa Campus in Barrio Logan. The new school has allowed Monarch to double the number of students it serves and significantly expand facilities and programs offered. The mission of the Monarch School is to educate students impacted by homelessness and to help them develop hope for a future with the necessary skills and experiences for personal success.
